The project provocatively and constructively questions the common practice of total replacement. In the sense of a showcase project and a forward-looking approach to existing building structures, a strategy of transformation and continued building and reuse in the sense of "use on" and "re-use" is proposed.
If the demands of the net-zero strategy and the climate goals are seriously taken into account, it is imperative to transform the status quo. The transformation and re-use of what already exists must be preferred to total replacement.
