The artistic design of the kiosk takes place on a box that can be raised and lowered, on which a stylised hamburger, an advertising column, a ladder, ice cream balls, etc. are illustrated. The semi-figurative settings undergo surprising changes when the „play box“, the "kiosk scenery“, is raised or lowered: the hamburger assembles, the advertising column grows or shrinks, a cake that can be seen on the hinged canopy expands by one layer. Aesthetically, the Memphis Style is the inspiration.
The intention is to set an airy accent in the weighty surroundings of the National Bank and Bahnhofstrasse, thus adding a splash of colour that is surprising for Zurich and attractive to broad sections of the population.
